Little Girl Lost is based on the life of the author, the struggles endured and finally the triumphs of a young woman trying to find her way in a changing world. She goes on a long journey with God and her mother wanting to find love, trying to find where she belongs; all the while feeling so lost. It’s about a young single mother, a love lost that last a lifetime, among so much misery, pain, and sorrow. it’s ultimately about a little girl that grows into a young girl that becomes a woman who remains lost most of her life until she meets God, the master of the universe; upon which life begins to change for the better. In the pages to follow the life of this woman will bring you to tears, to joy, to being her cheerleader.

About The Author

Risa Owens born 1962, and now resides in Ashland, AL. I grew up in Robertsdale, AL., where I attended school, and also raised my daughter. I am divorced, and have been single for most of my life. I love spending time with family, friends, and attending church. My favorite things to do are writing, bible study, photography. I also enjoy arts & crafts festivals, antiquing, and I would love to travel one day; my dream trip is to go to Paris.

I am a bit of a do my own thing kind of woman. I now live in a camper, which I call my glamper, and I love every minute of it. I am known as outspoken, sassy and a woman who speaks her mind. I spent the first part of my life as a shy person, so I am making up for that in the last part of my life. This is my first book about my life, and I hope to write more based on Christian values. I hope you enjoy it, and find something in it that speaks to you. It is my sincere prayer that God uses this book to heal others. I am a born again believer, who loves her Lord, and Savior above anything else in this world.
