About The Author
Toni Kief, Midwestern by birth, Northwestern by choice She will always keep one eye on the horizon. The first woman in Florida to break into an industry’s occupation, and participated in the slow evolution towards equality as an activist. She started writing at 60 when the realization that she didn’t know who to be once grown up. She has just published this historical fiction based on her 9x great grandmother. In addition, there are 5 novels based on older women and the transitions that challenge. A book on Flash Fiction writing and participated in a couple anthologies. There is nearly always some humor, she can’t help it. She is one of the founders of the Cooperative of the Pacific Northwest Snohomish, Washington, USA.
