About the Author
Born in the parish of Castedo, in the municipality of Torre de Moncorvo, in 1960 he immigrated to Mozambique where he remained until 1976, the year he returned to Portugal.
He settled in Trás-os-Montes in the municipality of Vila Flor (lands of D. Dinis) where he worked as agricultural technician in the Agrarian Zone of Vila Flor-Ministry of Agriculture and founded the Association of Farmers of the Nordeste Transmontano. Chairman for two terms.
He is now retired, dedicating himself to what gives him the most pleasure: Family, poetry and agriculture!
