About The Author
Laurel grew up in the Adelaide Hills, surrounded by an old family in a young nation. Living on a diet of tradition, ancestors and the ancient power of women, she developed a love for history and the fiction which binds it together.
With an analytical mind, Laurel finds mysteries and alternative viewpoints exciting, with the ‘silence’ of a commentary providing more interest than the ‘noise’.
Laurel now lives north of Adelaide with her husband and four children. As a fulltime disability carer, she continues to enjoy exploring the mysteries found through life and the pages of history.
