BOOK REVIEW by MC Simon
Can you help me, soul descendant? For strangely we are becoming linked, my thoughts, your thoughts. I don’t understand how or why except to believe that you can free me. If you are brave, you will. And then? And then I will free you.
There is so much depth in this fragment that has grabbed my attention right before the beginning of the novel! Moreover, the book’s title is pointing to a subject that’s been my interests for so many years. These were the reasons for starting to read this book, patiently waiting to see where the author’s arrows will strike.
And the arrow revealed a rich metaphysical thriller that connects through time and space, two women into one soul.
Laura Davis Hays, the author of Incarnation, succeeded to draw my mind and heart into the mysterious world of Atlantis while she designs a suspenseful visionary novel around the anticipation of the meeting between the two women.
The author not only uses her native intelligence to write this story, but she’s doing it in such a beautiful way. The mystery embraces the plot, and the reality reaches hidden boundaries.
Boundaries that drove my mind towards love and forgiveness. Boundaries that opened for my heart, the gates of compassion. I recommend the book to anyone who wants to go deeper than the perceptible time and space continuum.
Science, anthropology, metaphysics and spirituality… all are covered by the ocean waters. Covered and at the same time revealed… what a hooking tool for the fantastic journey the hungry reader is dragged into!
Five+ Star from M.C. Simon, the WritersPayItForward’s reviewer.

Synopsis
Kelsey Depuis, Santa Fe scientist, and Iriel, betrothed on Atlantis to a man she cannot love―two young women bound by a single soul.
In Kelsey’s everyday world, three men shape her life: Myron Crouch, the boss of BioVenture Enterprises; Harrison Stillman, a brilliant colleague of hers there; and Stan Dresser, who twists her feelings with his kisses and lies.
But gradually, growingly, Iriel is shaping her life too. Through dreams and visions, she draws Kelsey into the ancient realm where refusal to marry Gewil has driven her to daring flight with fantastic creatures across a strange and terrible land.
As Kelsey joins other BioVenture researchers testing a new organism on a remote Caribbean island, turmoil and violence darken her fate―and Iriel’s presence grows stronger. Worlds shift and merge, danger grows. Past and present, vengeance and love swirl together as the seas rise up, the seas that once swallowed Atlantis.
Tested in life-or-death struggle, Kelsey must face an ordeal she can survive only through great courage and deep karmic understanding.
