A Christmas Carole
Window-shopping
The sparkling colors
Floating on the festive air,
My eyes were shaken,
By the figure
Of a Blind beggar,
Glued to my car-window!
Before I knew,
My fingers dropped
A ten buck bill
Into his torn pocket
Poking a guilt-ridden hole
In my heart brimming
With the festive mirth
“Jingle bells” tune
Suddenly filled the
Air around me,
As he muttered,
“Don’t you disturb me
During business hours!”
Putting his cell-phone
And my pensive mood
In a silent mode!
