A Moonlit Serenade
A fugitive pain
Serenades every beat,
Of my brooding heart
Vaguely kindling
A simmering memory
From an earlier life…,
And the moonbeam winks
Making the evening smile
Into destiny’s eyes!
Dear “pain-friend”,
From a distant page of time,
Can you script my reveries,
In a blood-red ink,
From our past wounds
Finally consummating
Union of our destinies
And the moonbeam winks
Making the destiny smile back
Into the evening’s eyes!
